In a recent article in the People Management magazine, Peter Reilly states that more public sector HR functions are seriously looking at how they can partner with other public sector organisations in order to make savings in back office functions, systems, and procurement, given the public sector spending cuts announced by the Government.
He points out the factors to be considered when planning such a venture, and then goes on to consider the approaches adopted by private sector organisations when considering similar projects.
